KHAIMO (Productions Inc and Talents) has been holding feeding programs since 2012. We are a Non Government Organization comprised of family, friends and individuals who are willing to help in our own little way and reach out to communities that needed most of the attention - especially food. For two years, we have helped people in nearby Barangays from where we are at. We have started it small but we are more than fulfilled with what we have achieved so far. Our recent feeding programs have fed a total of two hundred residents from Mahayahay, Katipunan ang Panoloon of Sapad, Lanao del Norte. Our vision is to be able to feed more people and to be an inspiration that no one is too small or great to give.
In December 22 this year, we will be conducting a feeding program at Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur. Midsalip is a remote area, inhabited by "lumads" or native tribes. Unlike us, they have not been very fortunate in terms of food. They survive, based on what they could yield through farming. It is not a very good meal, but it is a descent one to give them strength to get through the day. We have heard about the area from a personal friend, Father Raymund Ogo, a Spiritan Missionary Priest. Since he heard about our advocacy he had asked helped about giving the people in his community an early Christmas treat.
